Bio: 

Dr. Walton Van Hoose lives in Citrus County with his wife of 27 years. As a native of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Dr. Van Hoose received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky in 1985. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Public Health Service as a Commissioned Officer. He served numerous assignments and at various locations during his 23 year career with PHS. Dr. Van Hoose has received numerous awards from the USPHS and was the recipient of the National Healthcare Administrator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1999.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States.
