Lissette Bernal, DDS, Pediatric Dentist
Bio:
Dr. Lissette Bernal was born in New York and, moved to Orlando, FL as a teenager where she graduated from Cypress Creek HS in 1994. Majoring in Biology, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Bernal then moved to Maryland and received her dental degree in 2004 from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School. While in Dental School, she was involved in multiple dental missions including Operation Smile in Vietnam and she provided dental treatment to the underprivileged in the rural areas of Dominican Republic. After completing dental school she entered a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bernal practiced as a general dentist for nearly four years before deciding to return to Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her post-graduate specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Bernal is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Bernal is happily married to her husband Roberto. They live in the Central Florida area with their beagle Rocco. When she’s away from the office, Dr. Bernal enjoys traveling, concerts, and spending time with her family and friends.
Brion Long, DMD, MS, Orthodontist
Bio:
Dr. Brion Long graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2000. He then attended advanced education in orthodontic specialty at the University of Florida, where he graduated in 2009.
"I like working with people and especially families, that is the best part of having a career in orthodontics," he said. When Dr. Long is away from the office, he enjoys tennis, hiking, swimming and basketball.
Dr. Long is a member of both the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics.
"Dr. Long is so thorough and comprehensive," said the parent of one of his patients. "It was amazing at how much time he spent explaining the growth and change that my son's face and mouth are going through. I thought I had brought him in too young but now I am so glad that I did. Dr. Long and his staff have been wonderful."
Hai V. Nguyen, DDS
Bio:
Dr. Hai V. Nguyen earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2002. Since graduation, he has completed continuing education courses in advanced endodontics, TMJ analysis and placement of mini dental implants (MDI).
Dr. Nguyen became an associate with Christie Dental in January 2003.
