Dr. Bowers obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from University of Florida. During that time she also attended a One-year Residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry ( AEGD) in the Jacksonville branch of University Florida, College of dental medicine. During that year, Dr. Bowers was exposed to challenging cases and started her passion for implant dentistry and intraoral surgery. This passion resulted in several years of further schooling. She attended a 36-month course and obtained her Masters Degree and specialty in Prosthodontics and implant dentistry. After that she attended school for one year as a resident in Periodontology, taking care of advanced periodontal disease cases. She became a Fellow in that specialty.
" I did it for my patients. Just remember that before being a dentist I am also a patient as well…and I only will provide the dentistry that I would like to have in my own mouth or in the mouth of my loved ones… So I always put myself in my patient shoes and treat everyone as they are a family member."
And that is true. Dr. Bowers is very friendly and welcoming to her patients and Co-wokers. She enjoys treating children and adults, and compassion is one of her best attributes.
When she is away from the office she is 100% mom for her little boy. She enjoys her free time with family spending time on the water, fishing, reading, exercising and being outdoors.
Dr. Bowers in actively pursuing her board certification in Prosthodontics.
