New research says that having gum disease could increase your risk of stroke by 4 times and increase your risk of a heart attack up to 12 times! What’s the connection?

Your teeth and heart are linked through your blood stream. If you have gum disease, your body releases plaque-causing bacteria into your bloodstream - the highways and bi-ways to your heart.
